High-volume continuous debris removal for water intake structures
The Traveling Water Screen is a continuously rotating band screen system used at large water intake facilities — power plants, water treatment works, and industrial cooling water systems — to remove floating debris, aquatic vegetation, fish, and suspended materials from large volumes of incoming raw water. Its continuous rotation ensures uninterrupted operation without flow reduction, making it the preferred solution for high-capacity intake screening.

How It Works

A continuous band of mesh panels rotates through the water flow, collecting debris on the upstream face. As each panel emerges from the water at the top of the rotation, a high-pressure spray wash removes captured material into a debris trough for disposal. The cleaned panel then re-enters the water to continue screening.
